کاوازو در ژاپنی يعنی قورباغه، غوک!

نام اين وبلاگ نيز همين است که از هايکوی باشو گرفته شده است * .

 شعر باشو شروعی است بر مهم‌ترين تحول هايکو و هايکوسرايی يعنی ورود ذن به کوتاه‌ترين شعر جهان .

به زودی ترجمه‌های مختلف فارسی اين شعر نيز بررسی خواهندشد.

درباره اين شعر، دوست گرانقدرم سيد آيت حسينی نوشته که در زير می‌آيد:

برکه کهن؛ مشهورترين هايکوی "ماتسوئو باشو" و شايد مشهورترين هايکوی سراسر ادبيات ژاپن باشد. در اينجا اصل هايکو، ترجمه فارسی و 30 ترجمه انگليسی مختلف از اين هايکو را می خوانيد.

 اغلب اين ترجمه ها کار مترجمان برجسته اروپایی و ژاپنی است.

به نظر من مقايسه ترجمه‌ها خالی از لطف نيست متن اصلی هايکو در زبان ژاپنی چنين است:


     Furu ike ya
     kawazu tobikomu
     mizu no oto
